Bagster tank cover maintenance

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' at netrider.net.au started by michnet76, Feb 12, 2009.

  1. Hi all...

I have recently brought a Bagster tank cover for my 06 CB1300 - great product. I only fitted it the other day and haven't done anything else with it yet... we're heading to PI for the WSBK's in a couple weeks and rain is forecast for that weekend. Looking at their website the only instructions for maintenance is to use warm soapy water to clean it and to regularly spray the seams with waterproofing product.

Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but what is 'waterproofing product'? They don't seem too specific on what to actually use. So what are you other guys using to waterproof these covers?

    Cheers
    Carl
