Baffles and roadworthy

Discussion in 'Bike Reviews, Questions and Suggestions' at netrider.net.au started by HondaCT, Feb 22, 2015.

  1. I bought a bike and it has a Yoshimura RS3 exhaust and titanium headers on it with no baffle. Would that be a definite fail on a roadworthy test? Do you have to have a baffle in to pass the roadworthy? Also does anyone have a baffle for an RS3 exhaust that I could buy? Thanks

  2. It's so hard to answer that question mate as every inspector is different. The guy I go to barely even looks at my bike. I recently got a blue slip off him for a new wr450 dirt bike without any indicators on it at all to give u an example. Don't change anything until someone fails u IMHO. Just maybe cruise into the ins station and cut the motor early if its a loud exhaust
  3. The answer depends on whether you are: can you please post your State..?
  4. Maybe I should book it on a Friday afternoon when he's going home for the weekend :D

    I'm in Melbourne
