  1. Haven't seen this posted yet, but apologies if its a double post. Motorcycle related article on the punch yesterday http://www.thepunch.com.au/articles/brrm-br-r-r-rm-time-to-rev-up-action-for-motorcyclists/

Generally I think Malcolm Farr is a complete bell-end, but he does offer some thoughtful comments on wire rope barriers, albeit mixed in with a bit of kitten killing motorcyclist hyperbole.

Reader comments are mostly full of the usual beige patrol versus bikers crap. Just posting it cause its motorbike related.
  2. Not a bad article. The idiot texting while riding, is...well...an idiot!

Of course IMHO, it is immensely less common than it is for cagers to be texting etc.
  3. Just wondering what Joe Public's recation might be if the journalisted opened his article with the sentence:

"it's difficult to demand safer roads in a week when an L plater was caught texting while driving".

I'm guessing they would be scratching their heads wondering what one issue has to do with the other.
  4. Dog bites man- that's not a story. Man bites dog- that's a story.

It just goes to show how law abiding that we are that when we break the law it makes the news whereas cages flout it all the time hence not news.
