Around Australia in 31 Days

Discussion in 'Welcome Lounge' at netrider.net.au started by Baino, Apr 15, 2013.

  1. I am married and my wife shares in the touring we do. In June, 2011 we road our bike around the USA 24,000 km in 52 days. It was anticlockwise from Huntington Beach Ca (near LA).
In February, 2013 we toured from Coffs Harbour to Tasmania. We looped Tasmania clockwise and travelled through the Snowy. 22 days - 5,000 km.
In June this year we are riding around Australia. From Coffs Harbour, anticlockwise. 16,000 km in 31 days.
We have a GoPro camera on front of the bike and my wife take thousands of photos from the back.
We are putting together some travel blogs on these trips and hope to have them posted soon.

  2. Good luck with it. That's a big trip and a big challenge.
Average of 500 km per day is a big ask for that many days. Hope it leaves you time to soak in a bit and you don't get any delays along the way.
  3. have a ball... gonna be a lot of straight line k's though... ouch.
