Aria Vector 2 (quick review)

Discussion in 'Helmets' started by Grendel, Nov 20, 2011.

  1. I got a matt black Vector 2 in XL. Fit's snugly and lots of venting options. I have a Shoei TZ-X too, so the comments are relative to the Shoei.

The Vector 2 wasn't as quiet as I thought it'd be. I read others saying that Aria were quiet. The air vents worked really well and i had heaps of air in the helmet at all times.

The visor lock didn't disengage as easily once on the road as it did in front of the mirror, might be something to do with the gloves.

Initially the strap was ok, but then n the way home, it started chafing. will have to check again on the next ride. The Shoei has never chafed.

On a final note, the Shoei came with a chin wind protector that clips into the bottom front of the helmet. My Aria didn't come with one. I have a spare Shoei chin thingy, anyone know if it's a direct fit to the Aria?
