App now available in Vic

  1. I was teaching a firstaid course the other day when I was informed by one of my students that the "Emergency +" app that has been used in NSW for a while now is available in VIC. This free app when opened gives you a Google map of your location , GPS co-ordinates and a button to call 000.
When you go to the the app store it's the NSW app that you down load.
I really like the idea , I mean how many times have had a thought of "if the faeces hit the vertical impellQer and I needed help, where the fcuk am I?"

  2. Cool. Have downloaded.
  3. You might like "cradar" as well. It will text a number if it gets a jolt and you dont turn off the alarm, whilst there is not coverage everywhere, it might still help in some circumstances.

  4. On some of the roads I ride on, it would be texting my Mrs every couple of minutes. That being said, it still is a damned good idea!
