Any video and audio tech heads out there?

Discussion in 'The Pub' started by gsxxer, Oct 29, 2010.

  1. I do some audio recording projects of my own, I use a firewire audio interface and Adobe Audition for the multitrack recording software. Its fine for recording multiple audio sources but it doesnt seem to be able to record a video track from a video source, like a digital cam, or webcam via usb.

What are some easy to use multitrack software names? Free is good but if its worth buying Ill buy it.
  2. Stookie is an audio tech I believe, working in the music business. In Cairns now and working in radio I think.
  3. Sony Vegas Pro.

Ive only worked with Vegas 9 but i think 10 is out.

If your familiar with Audition then Vegas wont be too hard to learn. But beware, i dont think 9 is compatible with MP4 Video files. I found out the hard way. Need to convert them to MPEG1 or 2 or AVI first.

I dont think its cheap but its free if you know where to shop..............

Or if youre using a Mac, Final Cut Pro.
