  1. Hi everyone,

I've been lurking here for a while, reading posts etc, and there's been a wealth of info to help me. I just got my first bike again. Again? Well, I did something stupid a while back... I caved into my then girlfriend and actually walked into the RTA and asked them to remove my R class. That was about 5 years ago. At the time I'd been riding on my Ps in QLD for a little while, on a GPX 250.

Well, now I'm back in the saddle on my '02 silver ZZR-250. I must say the Ls stuff down here is a little strange for those of us who've also been through it in QLD, but it is useful. Certainly showed me a couple of bad habits I hadn't forgotten :)
  2. welcome, welcome, welcome

    How you doing. ?

what part of sydney you living in now ?
  9. These days I hail from Pyrmont. I'll definately be catching up with some of the rides... half the reason for this bike is socialisation. The other half is the sweaty pants, riding through stinky tunnels, copping insects to both eyes because I popped the visor to scratch my nose, and all those other horrible little things you forget about bikes :)
  10. Welcome to the forum dude.
  11. Welcome to the forums Bragi0

  14. I picked it up in Paramatta on Saturday. Certainly by far and away in the best nick of every bike I looked at.

I just saw the Dante's .sig with the details in it. If I'm not stuck at work I'll be there :)

Oh, and I have to say, it's good to be back on a bike... always good to see that the other riders out there give you a nod and a wave!
  15. Another northerner!

    G'day, and welcome!
  16. Yes, it gets worse... I'm from further north than here. I used to be a bloody Queenslander. At least so I presume from the number of people that shouted that at me when I was driving in Melbourne on QLD plates :)

I haven't felt this welcomed since shouting "THE BEER'S ON ME!" when I was in uni!
  17. Get a strap from the disk lock to the bar..............it MIGHT save you coming a cropper one day. It is a very good reminder that the disk lock is on.

    Cheers
  18. It's an alarmed lock... I've already made the mistake of grabbing the handlebars before I took it off. But yes, I should get a strap eventually too.
  19. Have heard those things, they are damn loud. Hope you dont forget to take it off when the batteries die

    Cheers
