another michelin pilot question lol

  1. I just picked up a set of wheels from ebay so I can polish and custom paint without losing time off the bike and included on the back wheel was a BRAND NEW michelin plot wet weather tyre.

On closer looking I found the printing "not for highway use" and I got wondering....why not???

Does anyone have any reasoning why I couldn't use this trye on the roads apart fom maybe the insurance not paying out in the event. Does the tyre break up on the normal roads????

I will probably want to sell it on if anyone is interested.

  2. If it's a wet weather race tyre it'll chew itself apart in a matter of a few hundreds kms on a dry road.

The compound is super-soft, and designed to have cool rain water constantly flowing over it to keep it from overheating and falling apart.
  3. the it should be fine for the sydney roads at the moment

I will have to see if anyone wants it in the for sale section.

  4. Jeff, if it's a 190 then PM me as I'll be interested.

  5. I'll have a look when I get home and PM you either way.
