An ultimate off-roader (Actually given what they were originally intended for Inci could probably use one of these... )
  2. That's just bizarre!
How does it turn? I fail to see how the front wheel does anything.
  3. It's a single tracked vehicle - you steer with the front wheel.

    It's a 1944 NSU Kettenrad.

They were built for the German army (obviously  ) from 1940 on and were meant to carry half a ton of equipment and 3 soldiers across any kind of terrain. 8300 of them were produced. ( 36 HP and 1230 kg with a top-speed of 70 km/h). They were used in the Greek campaign for carrying artillery (a 105mm Mountain Howitzer could be broken down and carried by 4 of them).

It has a water cooled 1200 cc Opel engine and a 4 speed gearbox.

Although they proved quite useful,by 1944 a lot of them were relegated to moving aircraft around (I'm sure Inci would love one for his plane  )
