Alan Puckett passed away yesterday at age 87.
A lovely man.
RIP to a talented individual.
Sad news. Farewell Alan. Condolences to his family and friends.
Very sad indeed......He was a very colourful character.
What a shame. I first met him at an Aston Martin Owners Club meeting many years ago that my father dragged me to. What a character. I have one of his 'Tributes to Mike Hailwood' hanging proudly as you walk in the front door and signed properly by Alan himself.
He was the sort of guy you thought would live to 100.
He came pretty close to it, mate
Very sad. Jim Scaysbrook wrote a wonderful article on Alan in one of the early issues of Old Bike Australasia; get it if you can.
He DID miss including Alan's most famous work, so I'll do it here.
