Air Filter for R1

Discussion in 'Modifications and Projects' at netrider.net.au started by Sinner, Jan 7, 2009.

  1. I was looking to get an after market Air filter for my bike, hopefully one that increases performance but I’m not too sure which one to get?

Also would I need a DYNO tune after I get this installed?

    Thanking you in advance

  4. All bikes are the same to me .. the differences are which one gives you more BJ then booty or to users preference

  5. I prefer the 'bmc race' air filters. If you combine it with a free flowing exhaust then a dynotune may be required to get the fueling perfect again -and I wouldn't even bother unless it makes annoying flatspots.

Also, I'd have gotten a fireblade too ;)
