QLD Aftermarket pipes and safety certs

Discussion in 'Politics, Laws, Government & Insurance' at netrider.net.au started by Marick, Apr 3, 2013.

  1. Im booked in to have a safety certificate done on the Firestorm on Friday and I'm a bit worried about my Micron pipes. Ive never had to do a roadworthy on a bike before and having read posts about people having to get stock exhausts to pass roadworthy Im wondering if Im wasting my $44 to be told that the pipes wont pass...or am I worrying about nothing.

    Cheers

  2. Well it depends if the pipes are over the noise limit or not ? I would look at it this way You are paying $44.00 to find out . Which is very cheap .

I'm assuming a safety check is similar to a rwc
