Aftermarket Gear Levers

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' started by JP, Jul 18, 2008.

  1. I'm looking at replacing the gear lever on my VTR250. Just a quick question. Does the lever need to be a Honda original, or can I buy an aftermarket lever (assuming its around the same length as the original). Thanks for your time.

  2. Aftermarket is fine as long as they're avail.
Just note that in alot of cases, quality is not as good as genuine.
  3. Yea thats what I thought VCM....although $43 for the genuine lever is a bit steep :(
