Adjusting sleeves on a leather jacket

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' at netrider.net.au started by ewok2000, May 19, 2007.

  1. Hi everyone,

Just bought an R-Jays leather jacket which fits me quite well on the body but is approx. 2cm too long for the arms. The cuff of the jacket bites into the back of my hand which is quite annoying.

I've tried to take it to a couple of alteration places, but the response has been that they don't have the machinery to cut and resew the leather.

Anyone have any ideas/ references for alteration places in Sydney?

  2. PM Katcando, she fix for you
  3. Anyone know of a place in brisbane that'll do it?
  4. Do Pendragon Bootmakers still exist in Brisbane? They used to be in the city. They make weird and wonderful leather boots. They have the necessary machinery and are nice folks to boot (no pun intended). Give them a cal and see if they're interested.
  5. No luck with pendragon but it was a good idea and they had some thoughts about who else to try.
  6. Excellent. Good luck.
