adjusting brake lever

Discussion in 'Bling and Appearance' at netrider.net.au started by geeth, Apr 30, 2009.

  1. Yesterday I realised that my brake technique needs work. One of the biggest causes seems to be that my front brake lever is for far out - palm on throttle it's just at my finger tips.

I feel that this is causing my to not use it enough.

I want to adjust the lever closer. I am wonder as I have the numbers 1 - 4 on the lever, when is the closer and what is farther setting?

Will shortening the distance make the brakes more touchy?
  2. i can never remember the way the numbers work but i think mines.. 6 - closer.. 1 - further. just spin it and see. has no effect on braking just a comfort thing..impresses the kiddies also
