Adjustable Earplugs on Kickstarter

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' started by end user, Feb 25, 2014.

  1. Firstly, let me say I don't know anything about ear plugs. I don't even have my L's yet. But I stumbled across this product from kickstarter that I thought might be relevant to some riders. It is a earplug that allows you to adjust noise isolation to suit your personal preferences and/or riding conditions.

As a beginner, I'd guess they'd be good because I can dial down the noise isolation so I can hear everything around me till i get more comfortable on the road and begin to gradually increase the level of isolation.

I'd be keen to hear from the more experienced guys to find out how these might compare to existing plugs on the market.

  2. They have no use. You can hear fine with earplugs in. There are existing ear muffs which perform a similar functions.

Also, you wouldn't be able to adjust them while wearing a helmet.
