A supercharged Monaro you can't buy here

    Yeah, I know it's not a bike but still...

    The Poms can now walk into a Vauxhall dealer and buy a fully-warrantied Monaro that comes with a Harrop supercharger and 503 horsepower. That's 375kW, according to my abacus. Rather more mumbo than any offering from HSV, IIRC.

    Weirdly, they're selling these things for a thousand quid LESS than the standard non-supercharged version. :shock:

    Anyone else here think "Maloo" is a stupid name for a ute? Whenever I see one I find myself thinking of:

  6. Super Pursuit or Tornado at least have connotations of speed and power. Maloo has connotations of...???

    (Hmmm - maybe a Tornado's the ultimate vehicle for circle work!) :LOL:
