A Riders Funeral

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' at netrider.net.au started by Bangr, Dec 23, 2005.

  1. Hi all

I would just like to share with you all a little poem that was read out at Leo's Funeral yesterday (he was the rider killed in werribee last week).

The Funeral was very touching , and to see all my old friends from work and riding was in a way comforting .

    He loved to laugh,
    and liked to ride.
    But there was more,
    that lived inside.

    A loving Dad,
    his children dear.
    And family too,
    so close, so near.

    The aching loss,
    but don't forget.
    He lived it well,
    and won't regret.

    His love of life,
    that knows no end.
    At break of day,
    sleep softly, friend.

I am looking a getting a group together and doing a ride for him , just a social ride and maybe back to his grave for a final farewell , all are welcome . I will post it when I get a date.

    How short life is.

    Brendan
