A quick fix to a broken GoPro latch

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' at netrider.net.au started by AznCruiser, Feb 10, 2012.

  1. GoPro is a great product let down by its plastic latches and mountings/connectors..............these parts are expensive and prone to breakage. My latch broke right before taking it for some underwater action......lucky it didnt konk out in the water, the camera would have been all but useless.

This is my quick and cheap solution................5 minutes with a plier, a sacrificial coat hanger (the thicker brand) and a brick (I couldnt find my hammer).

If done well enough it can be stronger than the factory ones and can provide a better seal than factory ones.

  2. put a patent on it :)
  3.  Top
  4. Gotta love a repair that uses a brick, top marks. :)
