Had the bike out on the weekend, and im a relative newbie, having only been on the bike for a month. However, am starting to feel a little bit more confident and starting to enjoy riding now except for the tools of course. First off, was following a mate in their car, merge lane, i look around headcheck twice indicating.. beautiful start to merge when some stupid woman just decides to move from the middle lane into the left. Mind you at this point she had to be doing 20kmh over the speed limit to catch me mid-merge whilst constantly checking... I notice her indicator off the throttle, she looks right at me (in the eyes - visor was up) i look at her wave my arm at her like what the hell are you doing (at this point my merge lane has ended..) and she just continues to merge right on top of me! .. luckily i had anticipated this and left myself a safe zone... Gave her a peice of my mind as i went past her as she shouted back, untill the car infront of her ( my mates ) thought i had gone underneath it and hit the anchors... Stupid woman.... Secondly, Bike parked on footpath at the pizza joint away from all the cars... nice gap left to the gutter, at least a metre. Old #@%*@ 80+ ( Pulls in and jumps the gutter in a new prado, almost sending the bike flying, when i come out and say what are you doing, and he mutters to himself bloody motorbikes and proceeds to tell me that he doesnt care about motorbikes and never looks for them and couldnt care less.... needless to say at this point i was steaming but took it as a grain of salt, no damage to the bike so just left it.... Untill we are sitting in the shop and i see him walk between the gap of my motorbike and the front of his car, and proceeds to 'elbow' my mirror as he walks past, luckily no damage but it was definately deliberate, however by the time i got outside he was long gone... Bloody old people are the worst.... Grrrr.... Oh and almost knocked off by a chippy on the phone in hoddle street... all in a day or two's riding but the old guy really grinded me.... Sigh... Rant over. Cheers.
