A Brisneyland Rider

Discussion in 'New Riders and Riding Tips' started by Bluplet, Jul 30, 2005.

  1. G'day,

I've been a lurker on these forums for a while and have now just started to post!

I ride a 1996 Suzuki Across Handbag, which I've been pretty happy with. Though it needs some loving attention from a fork-straightener at the moment.

    Think that'll do :)
  2. Welcome, buddy.
Always room for one more Across rider!!!
(hope you're good at ducking for cover and have a thick skin!!)
  3. Welcome Bluplet :D
  4. Bluplet,

Welcome to the madness, pull up a stool.

  5. Gday and welcome mate

    Cheers 8)
  6. Thanks for the welcome people! :)
  7. What's your favourite piece of road/route where you live?
  8. Welcome fellow Brissy rider!

Hopefully you'll find this site as interesting and entertaining as I have in my short time here :D
  9. Hey Garen...how u doin?

I met Blupret when l was in bris and we went for a group ride around the block...lol which was a blast!!!.....the best day of my holidays thats for sure
  10. I'm fond of the route around Mt. Coot-tha, as it allows one to see pretty much most of Brisbane from up there with the views. Nice easy bit of road.

    I'm doing good thanks!

That ride was quite a nice one, was the first time I had ridden through thick fog! :)
  11. Yes the fog was a shock to me to let me just say...lol.

Didnt expect to see any of that in QLD, but it was good even so.
