  1. Day dreaming the other day and typed Triumph Bonneville into Gumtree and this came up:

OK so instant cons: its British and made in the 70s.

    But pros: its affordable!

What do you guys think? Should I stay away? Or is it worth checking out?
  2. ok ,its been in storage for 9 years, all seals will need to be replaced, forks, gearbox ,timing side oil seal . all oils need to be replaced , motor, forks, gearbox ,primary drive, ,,things to look for, rust in fuel tank, rust in oil tank ,this bike has oil in frame so will need a flash light to look for rust in frame oil tank . brakes will need to be stripped down and new seals and hoses, ,look at the wheels for flat spots and you will need new tyres,, if you carnt do this work your self forget it , if you have to take it to a bike shop to get any work dun forget it ,the cost will kill you,,spare parts are easy to find for this bike in australia ,
  3. and check that the motor and frame numbers match ,if they dont the value of the bike is less than the asking price .
