60th Harvie Wiltshire at Phillip Island May 14 - 15th

Discussion in 'Bikes' started by Garfield, May 5, 2011.

  1. The Preston Motorcycle Club has been conducting this event since 1951.
The winners are the who's who of Australian Road racing.
It is the oldest trophy race in the world.
The 60th running of the Harvie Wiltshire race will be conducted at Phillip Island on Sunday 15th May as the feature race of the third round of the Victorian Road Race Championships.
To celebrate this event, PMCC has been offered the opportunity to produce a 30 minute DVD, suitable for presentation to the international television market.
The club has rights to film footage of H.W. races in earlier decades, recent recordings of our earliest winners and participants and a lot of photographic material etc etc.
For this project to happen does any one know of a location sound recordist who would be prepared to assist on May 14th & 15th. Accomodation will be provided. One or two additional cameramen with there own professional HD gear would also be greatly appreciated. Any profits from this project will be shared amongst those who contributed.
