32mm clip on bars. which bikes got 'em ?

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by N2O, Sep 11, 2006.

  1. does anyone remember my post about searching for these bars? anyway, i finally measured them up and they are 32mm. So I called up dandy wreckers and they reckon they don't store them by size, but by what bikes they come off.

So would anyone happen to know what bikes had 32mm clip on bars? Or am I better of getting those ace bars for that cafe racer feel?

Also, is rod tingate in SA, or VIC ?

    cheers guys
  2. Don't know exactly, but 32 is pretty small. Look for smaller bikes.

something like a gsx250handbag or a cbr250. Maybe some of the earlier 600s

    Also try here

  3. Rod Tingate is in wonga park Vic

32 mm is a common 250 size fork leg dia do you have a vernier caliper it is your greatest friend i have an old knocked around one in my gear sack for when you drop in to the wreckers and go hunting in the various bits bins

Ringing them up will not help your cause very much, unless its model specific they wont know
