250 bandit and 250 across

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by pottz79, May 14, 2008.

  1. will an exhaust system for a suzuki 250 bandit fit a 250 across? if it is a stainless system, how much would you be looking at?

  2. Ring suzuki, ask them
  3. Im pretty sure they are a different engine, even the earlier to later 250 bandits have differences! the inlet manifolds on the pre 92 models are just 4x rubber tubes, wheras the later models are the tube on the carb side and bolted to the motor on the other. try and ring suzuki as suggested or grab the tech manula sonline and see if there are differences.

  4. thanks for your quick replies. he has now told me that he has pulled the exhaust of a 2000 across. so it would fit my bike. however i just don't have the cash. always the way.
