Anyone else head down? A few snaps I got for the day (Sat.)
Couple more I'm quite pleased with
Great shots on a great weekend.
Did you get any of #186, the black and gold Irving Vincent (Beau crashed it on the last corner of the last lap of the last race on the last day!!!!)
sure it wasnt 13
Track looks nice now eh!
Was pretty awesome standing on turn 6 watching him (#186) hustling the bike through there. Don't know if they had setup issues, but from what I was seeing he was pushing and chasing the front all the way through that corner. Right on the limit, & beyond at times. Great stuff to watch
Cam Donald was freaking quick
Big yellow Kat
Thanks for the pics. If I recall, that bike began as a 1946 Irving Vincent and has been re-built by a small factory in Hallam. it was the 'angriest' sounding bike out there (except mayne Agostini's MV Augusta)
3 of us were racing down at the Island Classic on the weekend. We were wondering if anyone took any photos or video as there was quite a number of spectators there.
We were in the Pre War + New Era 125 + New Era 250 + a whole bunch of other things; race.
I was on #8 (yellow/red bike, black/white/silver leathers)
Gary was on #73 (yellow/red bike, black/white leathers)
Kieran was on #79 (red/white bike black leathers)
Love to hear from you if you have anything to share with us.
The weekend was AWESOME!
Dunno if it was Ago's (unlikely) but a MV race bike blatted down the main street of Cowes late Sat afternoon causing many spilt lattes
I thought some might like this.
check out SDPICS
Not the best shots I got from the day Missed your other mate though.
Team Tiger has released a race report from the Island Classic, it's a bit larger than I originally planned, photos and videos. I hope you don't mind that I just link you to it.
Love to hear any feedback.
Awesome! What a great battle! You finally got under him at MG, and the bike spluttered on you.
A great watch. Thank you.
Defiantly not me,the slowing was a missed gear. The earlier bikes have less dogs in the gearbox and don't engage sometimes.BTW that motor is 10 years old, home made and tunned by the owner Steve Baterson. The rider is a young bloke who is really fast. The other bike has quite a lot of modern bits in it and cost megabucks and its rider has been racing in Europe with good results.Either way its close clean racing at its best.Wish I had been there.
