    Hi guys,

I just bought the new model of ER-6N and can't wait to get it delivered.
I was looking for accessories for my bike such as an engine guard and maybe the rear seat cover. On Kawasaki website genuine products are not yet available so I was wondering if anyone knows where I could find accessories for this 2012 model ?

Just thought that summarise the thread here would be a good idea

    Rim tape:

    - Two Brother: Official Website (Official Website
    - Arrow: Official Website
    - Akrapovic: Official Website (Official Website

    - http://www.kellermann-online.com/ (Official Website

    Divers Accessories:
    - All Barracuda Accessories: My Bike Parts

Thai website listing accessories (make sure they are road legal):

  2. Have a look on the Kawasaki.eu site they have have them there as far as I know not here as yet.

Congrats on the new bike I have got the LAMS version picked it up 2 weeks ago.

Have a look at the Er6 tread in bike reviews for lots of other info.

    Cheers Jeremy
  3. I have the same issue with my 650L (ER-6F) but the only real urgent issue for me is crash knobs that fit the model. Riding a faired first bike is fun but my paranoia is strong and would like some body work protection.

Jem is the naked version called a ER-6NL and not a 650NL? Mine is definitely a 650L (no R this year and black is good!)

    Cheers Spocky
  4. Thanx Jeremy,

I had a look to the European website and it says available soon too.

I had a look on rizoma.it, they have some cool and very nice universal product but I'm not really sure yet. I'm going to Europe in May so I might have a look when I'll be there but in the mean time I would really want to get those engine guards.

  5. Hi Spocky,

Mine is definately ER-6NL, there seem to be two model numbers for these bikes depending on what market they are in.

Not sure why and to be honest have not thought about it much. If you go to the owners section and go to download the manual it shows :-
    Model code ER650FCF
    Model Name ER-6n ABS

So probably not much help..... Certainly the Australian and European Kawasaki sites show it as ER-6N.

    Cheers Jeremy
  6. Mine is down as a Model code EX650FCF and Model name Ninja 650L ABS.

Euro sites it is down as a Ninja ER-6F ABS.

Weird.....but black is best none the less...;)

    Cheers Spocky
  7. Hi Spocky,

I had wanted white loved it on the previous model but with the new model it was black or green. Could not come at the green so black became the new white.

Luckily the red spring gave me enough colour to match the gear with afterall I cannot ride very well yet so I can at least look the part :bolt:

    Cheers Jeremy
  8. I wish they had brought out the red version here as it looks great also. Did you get the red wheel trim from Europe as subtle red highlights would be good.

Waiting for Kawasaki Australia to get their act together with parts! :tantrum:

    Cheers Spocky
  9. you, my friend, have purchased a ninja 650 learner bike, not the er-6nl which is the more naked variation.. the bikes are nearly identical in engine specifications and accessories i believe
  10. Hi Spocky,

have not got the red rim tape as yet but intend to get it from Alex see here -

I have bought a few rings from him, jacket, rain gear and he has been excellent to deal with.

Only thing I cannot decide on is plain red or reflective red.

cschubert fairly certain Spocky knows what he has, see post 3 and comment about faired bike.

    Cheers Jeremy
  11. Actually totally identical except for fairing which mine has and the ER-6nL doesn't. Its just a little weird the naming as the 650 is called a ER-6F (for faired) in Europe but 650 in Australia/NZ (LAMS version same but throttle restricted to 35kW vs normal 58kW.

So if things were consistent my bike should be called a ER-6FL!

    Cheers Spocky

    Hi guys,

Got my naked version last weekend and just love it ! This is my best purchase ever ! Anyway when I was there I ask the accessories guy when do they expect to receive genuine product from Kawa and he told me that he was expected them in 3 weeks (so 2 weeks from now).

On the other hand I found out Akrapovic is preparing an exhaust for the ER6N/F:

Two Brother released its version apparently:

I saw some very nice indicators here:

If you have anything please share here ;)

  16. Thx suicidaltrolley,

I saw that too but the fender eliminator is not road legal I think (there is no light for the plate). Plus it looks like a pain in the :busting: to order something.
Apparently you need to send an email to a dude (on his hotmail email address).
But they are shipping to Australia, I've asked them.

  17. not a problem mate.
thanks for pointing out the fender eliminator issue.

I found this guy on youtube, he has just about everything i want on his bike.
