  1. can anyone tell me whether a 2003 suzuki sv650 has some sort of factory immobiliser built into the key (similar to HISS for honda)? i am missing a key and am unsure whether to just get one cut or if i have to turn my house upside down.

  2. It's just a standard key with no imobiliser.

How are you going to get one cut with out the key?
  3. Most manufacturers didn't implement immobilisers until at least 02, and even then only foe some premium models, as motorcycles are not subject to the mandatory fitting as is the case with cars and other light vehicles which were required by ADR 82 to comply where vehicles are built July 2001 onwards
  4. Go to your local dealer with your VIN number and proof of ownership and some ID and they will be able to give you your key number. Take this number to a locksmith and they will cut you a new key.
