2000 XR250 Clutch - not fully engaging

Discussion in 'Bling and Appearance' at netrider.net.au started by twr7cx, Feb 15, 2007.

  1. My 2000 Honda XR250R, when the engines running and the bike is not moving, pull clutch all the way in and put into first gear, it will slowly roll forward a bit, like the clutch is not fully engaged.
This is worrying me as I'm thinking it could lead to premature clutch wareout, aswell as causing the bike to stall easier as there's already load on the engine, even if minor (actually it's prolly just my shit riding skills lol).
Any ideas, or is this normal? I notice there are adjustments on both the clutch leaver and the cable where it runs down past the engine.
