  1. Gday

would like to know if this model or any other model is worth anything and if so how much? In Australia In restored condition. Any demand for them?

Any other classic collectable models out there?

    Thanks in advance

  2. not worth much if its an import from India or Vietnam.

If its a locally delivered one, or one from EU, then yes there is a reasonable market for them. As to specific values....dont know, look at trading post etc.

  4. most good condition European Vespas still attract somewere in the 4500 price range. Can get that for the Asian Vespas but you will through another 10000 at them to make it rideable

  5. Bingo. Its irrelevant that the Asian ones are often very good quality, the fact is they have limited value because they are copies.

Having said that, the asian ones do sell. They sell for what i consider to be WAY overinflated prices. To be honest I think a lot of people who are new to scooting probably dont really appreciate what they are getting.

No sorry mate, I dont really have any detailed info. Best bet would be to go chat with some of the dealers local to you. Thee is bound to be a couple of shops who specialise in original vespas.

  6. Assuming the shop is still there. Get down to King St South in Newtown and have a look at the restored Vespas there. Its south of the train station near the Alice st intersection. Nice sympathetic restorations IMO.
