  1. ah, my idle rpm is preety high on my hysoung GT250R, its around 2000 to 25000 (some times to 3000). Rarely it goes down to the normal range.

A while ago, there was an accident where oil got into the petrol tank (long story) and i had to drain out the tank and the carburettor. And when i refilled it with petrol, i noticed that my idle rpm is quite high and also the engine seems to sound like its hyper.

I know its not the throttle cable, so anyone got any ideas (apart from digging a hole for my hyosung or buying a new carburettor )??

  2. Have you tried the idle screw?
  3. yea its all good now, it wasn't the idle screw
it was some other screw that was connected to the carbs via a spring and it was to tight.
    thanks anywaz
