iClint's 2014 MT-09

  • This is my 2014 Yamaha MT-09, Yamaha's foray into the Triple or 3 cylinder naked market. Purchased more out of curiosity than anything else.

It's one of those bikes, you either love it or hate it.

The bike can be summed up in one word and that's "Fun!" from its twitchy handling to its instant delivery of power anywhere in the rev range this little bike is explosive in its response the moment you crack the throttle.

While some have pooh-poohed the bike, you get what you pay for and at just a little north of $10k you get a lot for your money where you want it and that is in this bikes superb 3 cylinder 850cc power plant providing one of the best power to weight ratio's for it's class.

The fit, finish and quality of the bike is just what you would expect from any Jap bike. While the there have been complaints about the suspension once adjusted correctly for the individual the bike is more than capable of what most people could throw at it and then some.
