Crash's 2015 Hyosung GT650R

Average User Rating:
4/5,
  • This is my brand new 2015 GT650R, and this'll be a running log of the mods and experience I have with this, my first "real" road bike.

    Entry one:

    20 SEP 15
Rode to the servo. Put 10KM on the Odo. Bike wouldn't start after I filled up. Got a multimeter, looks like the starter died. Sent the bike to the RACV yard.

    23 SEP 15
Dealer confirms, dead starter. Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come. The starters are probably made by Dihatsu anyway, right?

    24 SEP 15
Bikes been repaired. Happy days! The brush spring failed, and the brush was no longer making contact in the motor. Really, I think a fault like that could have happened to any manufacturer, so still placing my faith in Hyosung for now.

    Entry Two:

    30 SEP 15
Bikes been a blast, clocked up close to 400 Ks. Decided it's time to make it a little noisier, so the CF slip on has been installed. Had to use some permatex because the adapter plate didn't quite seal 100%
