Here is a few shots of my NSR250. First is before restoration when it has the Rothmans fairing. Photo was taken outside the cafe at the top of Mt Glorious just outside Brisbane.
Next few shots are of the bike nearing the end of it's restoration. I've decided to go with HRC colours (same as the colours Mick Doohan's bike sported the first year he won the 500GP championship). I've gone a bit over the top with this bike. The motor is completely rebuilt including new case bearings, new crank, new electroplated barrels, ported, new pistons/rings, new water pump, new clutch, new hose kit. I've also replaced every bearing and seal in the swingarm, linkages and wheels. Suspension has been redone front and back, it's got billet triple trees, levers and rearsets. It has a carbon performance airbox, stainless expansion chambers/pipes, braided brake lines and reconditioned brakes. I've also fitted a racing spec HRC ignition.
Last shot is what it should look like (apart from the billet bits and pieces) once it's done.
All that's left is to pick it up from paint, get the fairings on and fine tune the jetting.
