So, as many of you know, I have been struggling with the loss of my Mum in April. To be honest, I am as surprised as anyone at how hard it has hit me. I will be fine for a moment and then suddenly a huge wave comes over me as I remember the smallest thing, or I come across a photo, or I reach for my phone to call her and realise I can no longer do that.
I haven't even felt like riding - poor Jet sits neglected and lonely. And this weather sucks! I am so not a Winter girl! But despite the cold and given the blessing that Netrider practice is close to home for me, I have ventured down on a couple of cold Saturdays and been met with the wonderful folk as always. Doug you are amazing! Always there for those of us that finally get our sorry asses down to do some cones, have a coffee, meet some new folk and take a breath from what can sometimes be a harsh week.
The point of this blog? Just to say a heartfelt THANK YOU!
