Arrived to Wooloongong early in the morning to check in at icemaker 's palace to drop off my bags and take the lawnmower to its first (1200kms past its) service at KTM.
Walked home and had the run of the place and made a beeline for the washing machine. Oh by golly gosh I was so happy to see both a washing machine as well as a dryer after a week of recycling cloths!!

Sitting in a towel waiting for the spin cycle to finish, I managed to sneak a convo with Andrew West to make plans for an arvo rendezvous behind Sydney hills....
Getting to the meeting petrol station became and adventure itself, since somewhere on a pothole highway, made my back seat come off (I was riding bagless for once) & the next-to-useless KTM toolkit decided to skiddadle over the highway behind me. The result was me riding with one hand behind me holding the pillion seat down & pulling the throttle, wondering how the hell I was going to change gears this way.... Needless to say I proceeded to make my way to the closest freeway exit for some inspections....

But back to the rendezvous with Mr West....The result was finally meeting the king of comeback one liners himself, in the flesh! for a fun couple of hours tick-tocking between dams: Avon dam and Burragorrang dam. Much long watery vistas to be had.

Road conditions were pretty wet but also, as we discovered, were large areas littered with last week's flash flooding devastation. Skid marks & mud patches were the norm, as well as ripped out road signs and downed trees.

With the setting sun, we said our goodbyes & it was homeward bound.... To then meet the icemaker man himself, for during the day I had managed to meet his two gorgeous ladies waiting patiently in the garage - what beauties I must say!
A nice day all round even though it was short.
