A wet GC Spring day

Looking rather wet today, played down the ride length. But not before meeting another two NR genteel characters from these sunny parts... :) Two lovely ladies, FractalzFractalz and suzannesuzanne.
Got to meet and greet and get the low down on each other's bikes; One thing that was discussed and agreed upon was there is something both sexes agree on:
    Happiness IS = n + 1!
Discussing what ladies do; Tyres, bikes, riding styles, gear etc (as you do) over breakky was lovely, but riding was calling before the heavens opened up... So we wrapped it up and headed out towards our own destinations. Looking forward to riding properly with these lasses in the future!

FractalzFractalz honoured me by bringing her lawnmower to the party! Didn't know she owned one ^_^ although a little more geared towards Gymkana activities than mine for touring. None the less it was great to see another one about :)

The ride was a shorter than originally intended through the GC hinterland before the heavens opened up... Managed to snap a couple of shots before the water came down:snaphappy:. Very nice to be able to ride along and literally smell the flowers, freshly wet.
Since the rest of the day was washed out, I decided to learn how to change levers and the side stand... only to find out that the clutch lever was not for my model of bike (scratched slightly the paint in the process :grumpy:) and I didn't have enough strength to undo the side stand bolt no matter how much leverage, so off I go back to the mechanics tomorrow....

At least I learnt how to replace levers! (y) (Thanks GeorgeOGeorgeO for the step by step instructions!) :shy:

Pity about the levers Val, they look a nice match for the bike :)
