Absolutely true - it's as horrible as all get out but everyone's going to want one.If you're going to go ugly then you have to go really ugly.

It doesn't have any indicators so that would be the least of my worries! haha
(yes I am putting some on ).

Im guessing you mean engineers certificate? It all still functions as it should, theres no frame mods or anything like that, so nope. In saying that things like no front fender deem it as un-roadworthy.

haha, yup! You also need a secure battery cover, a non-cable tied air filter, working foot brake, front fender, and rear fender that covers X part of the tyre, etc etc ;) ... it'll get there eventually! (some of those at least!)

Spent the last 2 days working on the rebel! Achieved loads. Now has (working) brake lights, indicators, new filter set up, new spark plus, fresh oil (there was 2.1 L in it!!) and a tidy up of all the wiring. Runs like an absolute dream. Dare I say it, but it has so much more power and is much smoother after the tidy up. Also sent it in to get a chuncky enduro tyre on the front today. Leaving the stockie on the back for now. In the span of 3kms on the way to work this morning I had 3 people in cars at lights comment on the bike hahaha.

“What sort of bike is that mate?” – “Left over parts and scraps (y)

Ill put up some pics tonight.

I just got the bike back from Peter Stevens in Melb CBD... I thought these guys would be appaled, but they loved it. Gold! Seriously they couldnt have been more helpful trying to find the right look tyre I wanted. Then they fitted it all within a couple of hours.

I hate riding on new tyres, these in particular are bumpy and very slippery! Fun times.

The bike is looking more rediculous every day!
