The way it goes getting finance for bike + gear you get the dealer to package it on the bike for the invoice, all,the loan/finance provider cares about is the invoice value.

    What he said.
Failing that, haunt Cash Converters or Ebay for second hand stuff. Most bike hire places will only rent gear along with bike hire.

I packaged my gear with the bike loan. The Finance loan will allow 10% (of the cost of the bike) to be added to the loan which should be more than enough to get you the the necessary items (Helmet, jacket etc). The dealership that you are planning to buy the bike from must stock these items so ....

+1 to Cash Converters as well. I walked past one a few weeks back and saw motorbike related items in there such as boots, jackets etc. Even Helmets but I would suggest that you get a new Helmet.

    Look,
If you really really need a loan for a bike and gear, PM me. Providig you are employed, I can get one of the girls here to do you a loan.
By the way, I work in Banking. Not some dodgy loan shark.

I have a spare gloves in Medium. It's a full gauntlet, not the best quality but it's better than nothing. I'm in the westside of Melbourne, I can let you borrow it if you need.

Just one thing for you to consider....

Try to make sure you get some familiarity time on the new bike before you head out onto some main roads, it is vital that you get used to the bikes feel, the clutch friction point, the braking effort required, how it feels when turning..

Without these skills you could get stuck at some lights stalling constantly, braking to hard or not hard enough, etc etc..

The usual advice is find some quiet streets around where you live & just ride around getting used to the bike, once you are feeling ok go on to busier/faster roads & build up your skills, we all learn this stuff at a different pace so just move to the next stage once you are feeling comfortable.

So its probably not a good plan to rush down to the Saturday prac as your first ride, also others can assist with an escort for you to the location, just to help with directions & traffic handling.

Bet you can't wait for the bike, the first one is always the most exciting :)

TBH i really wanted to ride straight from the bike shop but i'm thinking of getting it toed to my place and doing the back streets around my place which i have plenty of them...

As for waiting i can't sleep and it's 11.18pm as i type this i'm scared but very excited at the same time... It kind of feels i have the rush going through me and i haven't ridden it yet lol...

I do want to learn all i can from riding i don't want to be some f*ckwit thats going to be smart and do my own thing i want to learn from Netrider and do the Saturday rides and learn... It's kind of funny but all i want is to ride and have fun make new friends and just enjoy being happy and i know from riding it will happen...

Perhaps bike shop will drop it off for you if you explain your situation ? Seems fair if you've purchased a bike from them - not a massive ask of them

If you are going to ride unregistered (uninsured) then ffs don't hit anyone !

Edit - sorry I misinterpreted, You mean you won;t have any safety gear on, not no rego.
    Be careful.
