Hmmm. I guess that means I don't ride either.

You know, it gets pretty annoying when every thread about Ducati's ends up the same way.
I wanted to read about someones experience, not the typical peanut gallery BS. Sure, have a crack every now and then, but every thread? Surely you'd gets annoyed if there was constant BS about the bike you choose to own.

    However you missed the point

Ok. Fair enough. However, I think your reaction to this thread was based on a misunderstanding. No one was attacking Ducati, rather a review type thread in which the bikes were only sat upon, not ridden. That is my understanding, anyway.

I ride a motorcycle. The Easter Show has rides. It was a silly thing to pick at, I admit.

If I have missed your point too, I guess I don't understand what you are saying.

Why would you buy the Duc when the MV is prettier?

Oh and its so funny when you go to Panigale and it is an industrial estate. They should have called it the Bologna at least.

In with the late news dude...As a matter of fact I do expect more from moderators =D>

Put it into perspective. 20,000k's in my car per annum and probably 10-12,000k's on a bike is a fair few considering I live 14.5k's from my shop.

    Own whatever bike you like.

But you might want to look into getting a sense of humour too.
Any time anybody makes a crack about ducatis on here you're ready to jump down their throat like they'd actually set yours on fire.

You own a Duc. You're going to hear comments about latte sippers.
If you owned a Harley you'd hear comments about agricultural equipment.
If you owned a triumph you'd occasionally have to explain that they don't leak oil anymore

You could get uptight about it everytime I suppose but that doesn't seem very healthy.

ye most people only joke about it its ok. but there are also heaps of people who are genuinely bitter because they cant afford it....and of course they then try to make themselves feel better by telling others how ridiculous it is to own one. especially never understood the comment about having skills of casey stoner to deserve a bike like ducati. in this day and age, exotic bikes with all the fancy electronic trickery is probably easier to ride fast than a stock standard r1.

This is true. I was also told by an old Honda rider I was parked in the wrong spot... since Triumphs should not park next to Hondas.
